About Me

About Me

I’m a fiction writer with a love for video games and fantasy and Sci-Fi stories in particular. I have worked in the video game industry as a freelance writer and narrative designer for over six years, helping studios of all sizes. Currently, the side projects I’m working on are my debut novel, a number of short stories, and a Twine game.

I’m a firm believer in the transformative power of fictional stories; all stories are metaphors, the best showing the author’s views on life. My stories revolve around the most powerful core — love — and often feature themes of family and finding purpose in life.

I love working with game developers to help craft the story, world, lore, and characters for their games. I excel at creating sharp, witty dialogue delivered by relatable characters. Stories told within video games should feature clear character motivations which are challenged through conflict, meaningful choices, and conclude with satisfying resolutions.

I understand that developing a game is a monumental undertaking, and requires passion and dedication. I am always humbled when talented developers choose to work with me, and pledge to treat projects with the care and respect they deserve.
