For The Tale of Bistun, I was brought in to work closely with the narrative lead to best tell an intriguing story of self-discovery and loss, including introducing the late-game revelation.

I rewrote the narration and existing in-game text, whilst providing story consultation to help develop the key themes.

About
The Tale of Bistun is a story-driven action-adventure game inspired by a famous Persian tragic poem. In the game, you play as a stone carver who awakens on Mount Bistun to discover that he has no recollection of how he came to be there, or even who he is. His journey is narrated as he follows a pleading whisper to find his identity.
